Next Step Technologies is a full service Orthotic and Prosthetic provider located at 22 Newtown Road in Danbury, CT with Board Certified Prosthetists and Orthotists, William Guaragno, CPO, Christopher Guaragno, CP and Alexandra Guaragno MSOP. Next Step Technologies is associated with many of the area’s hospitals, nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities. We pride ourselves in providing our patients with excellent quality and multi disciplinary approach integrating the collaborative efforts of the treating physicians and physical therapists into the prosthetic and orthotic care of the patient. Being a small company, we are able to provide our patients with the intimate care that they need and deserve.

Our office provides a full range of prosthetic devices for above and below knee and elbow amputations. We offer the latest technology and high tech componentry for all extremity patients with amputations. Our team of ABC Certified Prosthetists are educated and trained in all Micro-Processor Controlled Knees, Feet and Ankles. The Microprocessor controlled knee systems provide amputees with the most natural gait pattern available, while placing safety first. Microprocessor foot and ankle systems allow patients to navigate hills, ramps and stairs, to the best of their ability. The team here at Next Step is proficient with all facets of upper extremity prosthesis as well. 

Next Step Technologies also manufactures a full range of upper and lower extremity orthotics for bracing needs with our team of clinicians. We specialize in all aspects of orthotic management for the adult and pediatric populations. We also provide sports bracing for all ages and types of injuries, dynamic bracing for contracture management, spinal bracing, scoliosis management, pediatric bracing, off-loading orthotics for wound healing and custom molded foot orthotics, along with heel lifts to full sole lifts (inside or outside the shoes). Additionally, we provide a full range of prefabricated bracing for both upper and lower extremities. We utilize the most up to date technology through the Walk-Aide System and the Bioness Functional Electrical Stimulation  (FES)  units for our patients with foot drop from MS, CVA, GB and Spinal Cord injuries. 

Other services that we provide to our patients and fellow medical health professionals are free evaluations on these latest orthotics and prosthetic technologies. Patients are seen in our office, in their home, or in a facility with other healthcare professionals. The facilities include hospitals, physical therapy centers, doctors offices, nursing facilities and rehabilitation facilities.
